Tijari Islamic Fund was launched in July 2006. The Fund invests in the Sharia compliant companies listed on the Kuwait Stock Exchange. Fund is conservatively managed and has performed exceedingly well.

Fund Objective
• To create relatively higher returns for investors by
  investing in a diversified and risk-controlled manner
  in Sharia Compliant Companies that are listed on
  the Kuwait Stock Exchange.


Fund Strategy
• The Fund's assets will be invested mainly in stocks
   listed on the Kuwait Stock Exchange.
• The Fund may invest in large cap as well as medium
   cap Companies.
• The Fund will invest in Sharia Compliant Companies
   that fit the following criteria
• Steady growth in revenues
• Strong operational income Fund Objective
• Strong balance sheets Fund Objective
• Attractive P/E & P/BV ratios  


  Fund Description 
• Life of the Fund is 10 years
• Capital range of KD 5 Million to KD 100 Million
• Minimum subscription 500 Units;
  Maximum subscription 50%
  of the total number of issued units.


 Client Assurance
• CBK will maintain a minimum 5% investment
  in the Fund at all times.
 


 Fees
Subscription fees 1.00%
• Redemption fees 0.25%
• Management fees 1.50%
• Custody fees 0.125%
 


 Subscription/Redemption
• Subscription and Redemption shall take place
   on Thursdays every two weeks.

• Subscription applications can be submitted up to Thursday (NAV Day) not later than 1p.m.

• Redemption applications must be submitted 7 working days prior to NAV Day.  
 


 Target Clients
• The Fund is open to all Kuwaiti nationals,
  Expatriates, Corporations and Institutions.
